  • Sometimes when you meet someone you are crazy about, you forget to ask important questions that you should know the answers to. You may be afraid to ask because you do not want to know the answer. This is a step that is too important to put off or not bother with. You were born with a brain and this is one of the most important times in your life that you need to use it.

  • **Almost all the ladies will say yes with little delay. A knee jerk reaction for many. It is very important that you make it clear how important it is for her to learn the language and offer her rewards if you have to. Tell her it will be very useful to her regardless of whether you two get married. Stress how much you really mean it is important in many way and give examples. Tell her what doors it will open for her and any future kids she might have. Have her take and pay for English lessons while you two are still courting and see if she goes to class, takes notes, asks you questions and for help with her homework and in general. You will be able to see if she means it or not. I would say if her learning English is of the utmost importance to you then make your conclusions a few months after she starts English school.
  • If her learning English right away is not critical to your wants then do not put intimidating pressure on her but still make it clear it is something important and to be done over the years to come. Tell her how happy she will be and how impressed her family and friends will be. When you get her back to your country make sure she is not around Spanish speaking people all day. This is very important to learning any other language.
